Limited Availability of Placement - The parent and/or legal guardian and/or learner (“the Applicant”) is hereby advised that placement into Grade 8 for the 2026 academic year at Ullovu Secondary School (“the School”) is subject to the availability of space within the School’s enrolment capacity, as determined at the sole discretion of the school. Submission of an application shall not be construed as a guarantee or entitlement to admission. Furthermore, only 600 applications will be allowed.
Recommendation to Apply to Multiple Schools - In recognition of limited enrolment capacity, the School strongly advises all Applicants to apply to multiple educational schools. The School accepts no responsibility for unsuccessful placement where alternative applications have not been pursued.
Placement Test and Application Fee - Applicants who are shortlisted will be issued an invitation to attend a compulsory placement test. Such invitations will be communicated on the 30th day of May, using the contact information provided in the application form. An application fee of R60 must be paid using the school banking details before the placement test. The learner's Name and Surname must be used as reference. Proof of payment must be brought to the school on the day of the placement test. Only hard copies will be accepted. This fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
No Assurance of Admission - Completion of the application form and/or attendance at the placement test does not constitute an offer of admission. Admission is subject to the outcome of the placement process, space availability, and compliance with all admission criteria and school policies as determined by the School.
Grade 8 and 9 Subject Package - The School offers a structured academic programme for Grades 8 and 9 in accordance with CAPS curriculum. Detailed information on subject offerings is provided above.
Additional Subject Support - The School is committed to academic excellence and provides various support initiatives, including but not limited to:
Mathematics Support: Participation in Maths Hub sessions and learner/parent engagement through the Siyavula online platform.
Compulsory Extra Classes: Learners may be required to attend additional academic support sessions as indicated by subject teachers. These may take place in the mornings, afternoons, weekends, and during school holidays. Attendance is compulsory where prescribed.

Friday: 07h00 – 14h30, Learners are expected to be punctual and to attend school as per the above schedule. Additional sessions outside these hours may be scheduled as required.
Accuracy of Information - The Applicant warrants that all information provided is true, accurate, and complete. The School reserves the right to reject or revoke any application or offer of admission should any information be found to be false, misleading, or materially incomplete.
Right to Amend - Ullovu Secondary School reserves the right to amend, vary, or cancel any part of the admissions process, including but not limited to procedures, criteria, or timelines, without prior notice and without incurring any liability.
