BET Software Advances Digital Learning and Career Pathways at UllovuSS

Ullovu Secondary School continues to strengthen learner development through its partnership with PPR Education, which has enabled strategic collaboration with BET Software focused on both immediate learning support and long-term career pathways.

As part of this partnership, BET Software provided a technology sponsorship that includes 15 laptops with keyboards, a projector, an interactive whiteboard, and a smart power source for appliances. These resources are intended to enhance digital teaching and learning, improve learner engagement, and ensure continuity of learning during power interruptions.

In addition to infrastructure support, the partnership introduces a future-facing opportunity for Ullovu learners. From 2027 onwards, learners who pursue ICT and technology-related qualifications at university will be eligible to apply for the BET Software Dare To Dream Bursary Programme. This national programme supports passionate ICT students by funding their studies and preparing them for entry into the technology industry.

Learners who excel during their tertiary studies may further progress into the BET Software Graduate Programme, a structured 12-month development programme. Through this programme, graduates gain practical workplace experience, develop soft skills, business acumen, and product knowledge, and rotate across different departments under the guidance of experienced mentors.

This pathway provides Ullovu learners with a clear progression from secondary education to tertiary study and into the workplace, particularly within high-demand technology fields. It aligns with Ullovu Secondary School’s identity as a Mathematics, Science and Technology school, reinforcing its commitment to preparing learners for careers in the digital economy.
