In just five transformative years, Ullovu Secondary School has grown from a vision into a place of learning, resilience, and promise. What started as walls and desks has become a vibrant space where young minds are nurtured and futures are imagined.
From these humble foundations, Ullovu has risen with determination, guided by dedicated teachers, supported by parents, and carried forward by the energy of our learners. More than a school, we have become a community bound by hope, discipline, and the pursuit of progress.

Our pupils are not just learners, they are emerging innovators shaping the future. This section highlights the creativity, determination, and problem-solving spirit that define the Ullovu learner. Learners Designed Technological Solutions for Alarm Systems in Shops and Houses
Inspired by everyday challenges in their communities, Ullovu learners engineered working alarm system prototypes for household and business safety. By combining electronics, coding principles, and engineering skills, they created solutions that are both practical and impactful. Their work proves that innovation at Ullovu is not abstract — it is hands-on, meaningful, and connected to real-world needs.
Learners Launched Their Own Math Club With Interactive Activities and Drills
A group of enthusiastic learners established their own Mathematics Club, creating a space for peer learning, academic collaboration, and rigorous practice. Through speed drills, group challenges, and exam preparation sessions, the club builds confidence, discipline, and strong mathematical foundations. This learner-driven initiative reflects a culture of leadership, ownership, and academic excellence that continues to uplift the entire school.
Our Learners Excelled in the MTN 21 Days of Y’ello Care 2024 Programme
Ullovu learners proudly participated in the MTN Foundation’s 21 Days of Y’ello Care 2024, a prestigious national initiative that empowers young people to create meaningful technological and community-centred solutions. Their active involvement showcased outstanding creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. Through hands-on innovation challenges and digital skills development, our learners demonstrated that they are more than prepared to contribute to real community upliftment. Their achievement placed Ullovu among schools that are nurturing future-ready leaders who use technology to drive social impact.
Our First Matric Class: A Historic Academic Milestone
The Matric Class of 2024 holds a special place in the history of Ullovu Secondary School. As our first cohort since opening in 2021, they carried the responsibility of setting the academic benchmark for all future classes — and they delivered with exceptional courage, discipline, and determination.
Outstanding Academic Achievement
The class achieved an impressive 80.8% pass rate, a remarkable accomplishment for a first-time matriculating group. This achievement reflects not only the commitment of learners, but also the steadfast guidance of teachers, the support of parents, and the strong academic systems built over the school’s early years.
